In our last article on Unveiling the Illusions of Reality, we spoke about how the reality we perceive moment to moment is all a facsimile, a faux reality generated inside our brains. When you open your eyes in the daytime, you see light, but in reality, no light whatsoever enters into your brain, into the part of your brain that generates your visual perception.
Much like how a TV captures radio frequencies with encoded data of 1′s and 0′s, and translates that into an image, your brain does the same thing, but creates a perceptual holographic 3D reality.
It does this with your vision, hearing, smell, taste and touch. All these senses import data within your brain and the brain generates the experience.
I also shared with you that the only way for you to experience the REAL reality, not just your brain’s perception of it, is to use a type of sensory called an ‘Empathic Sensory’. It is a way of sampling what something ‘feels like’. It allows you to feel the subtle unique energetic signatures that make up the very fabric and molecular design of whatever it is you direct this sensory towards.
Now, I want to speak to you about another aspect of how Reality is truly an illusion.
What you need to understand is that when we say Reality is an Illusion, we are speaking of different levels. What makes Reality an illusion anyways?
Well for one, its about how we view Reality. Our perception of Reality isn’t what Reality actually is.
Secondly, when we look at the very fabric of Reality, we see that it is based on inherent programs, patterns and coded instructions that tell the very makeup of our world how to function.
Most people are taught to believe that we exist in a Universe that has no purpose or predefined patterns that is must adhere to. Everything that happens, happens because of chance, at random, and all that exists in this Universe is what we can experience through our 5 senses. Most people are taught that its impossible to walk through a wall, levitate of fly in the air, move an object with your mind, see the future or an event happening somewhere else with your mind.
Why do people believe these things?
It’s because we’ve all been taught that Reality doesn’t work that way. It has very static principles that cannot be bend unless you utilize some function related to those principles, such as thermodynamics in order to defy gravity, or have a camera setup at the location you want to remotely view.
In truth, our taught view of reality is utterly wrong. The very laws of reality are not static. Take Quantum Physics for example. It shows us that the mere observation of reality changes how reality behaves. Its as is something within reality knows when we are observing it or not, so as to change the laws of physics.
In other words, it uses one set of physics when we are not observing it and another when we are observing it, almost as if to trick us into believing Reality works and functions a certain way so that we never REALIZE that it was an Illusion after all, this whole time!!!
There are even cutting-edge scientists and physicists that have discovered at the very base of Reality, down, past molecules, atoms, and sub-atomic particles, are a set of codes or instructions that govern how energy and matter behave.
These codes, like 1′s and 0′s, literally tell the energy that forms the atoms we call matter, to become particles and molecules. They are the Source Code of Physics and determine how Physics in this Universe work.
Since Reality has been discovered to be based on a sequence of codes, which form programs, which gives atoms and molecules their defined roles and functions, it shows us that Reality is very much like a Virtual Reality.
A Virtual Reality generated by a computer, also is based on codes, which form algorithms, and programs which govern and define how every element with that Virtual Simulation will function.
So by perceiving reality in a similar way that we would perceive the functioning of a Computer program, software, or Operating system, can give us ways to Understand these new Paradigms Physicists are discovering about how Reality works.
Ultimately, in order to see through the Illusions of Reality, we need to learn to PERCEIVE ourselves and our surroundings in new ways. It is these new, unique ways of perceiving that will allow us have the Realizations of how Reality works that will lead to Awakenings.
When we look at our body for example, we perceive each person as one thing, a whole, when in fact we are all made up of many different parts. We have arms, legs, feet, hands, ears, eyes, nose, etc.
We don’t see a person a being multiple things, only as one thing. If we dive even deeper, in truth we are made up of billions of individual cells. If our VISION was attuned to only seeing on a microscopic level, all we’d see would be cells fluttering everywhere. It would seem like separate things, than seeing them all as a whole. Its only when we zoom out and see a person standing in front of us that we then perceive them all as a whole.
When we have cravings, reactions to things, desires, thoughts, we thing they are all our own. The reality is, they are generated by the cells of our body. You as a biological organism are the collective of all those cells of your body. Your will is the collective will of all the cells of your body.
If you walk down the street and see someone you find attractive and have a desire to ask them out, where is that coming from? In part it is being processed in the brain, but your brain is also a large collective of Individual cells all working together. It is really all the cells of your body, desiring as One, to procreate, that you have these desires.
Your individual cells desires to procreate pool together, sending signals through your nervous system, a series of messenger cells, that communicate with your brain, the desire of the body. Your reasoning centers like members of Congress or Parliament decide how to react to the collective will of the body.
If you were hungry and had a craving for Orange Juice, certain cells of the body may require the vitamins in the Orange Juice to function properly. Thus the communicate their need, you feel it as a desire. You, believing your body is you feel that you want Orange Juice and so you buy some, or make a note to pick some up when you go shopping next.
By perceiving our bodies in this way, we realize that we really are not these cells. The Question you start to have is, “DO I have a sense of Self and WILL beyond that of the Cells and Organism that is my body? Is my body all that I am?”
It is when these questions happen, that your Consciousness begins to expand and the doors of Awakening become open to you.
By perceiving yourself differently, you allow yourself to remain in a more Conscious and Awake state, because you become Awakened to the True Nature of Yourself, and the World you reside in.
For example, our entire body is made up of over 100 Trillion Individual and Unique Cells, which eat, breath, think, reproduce, and communicate.
Just as this Planet is a Living Organism, made up of the collective of the millions of varying species on this planet, you are the collective of the Trillions of cells that make up your body. Start to perceive your reality in this way and your Perception of yourself and Reality becomes a little more clearer…
When you do this, you can begin to see all the various layers of their being, the different pushes and pulls within them. You can begin to see that people act the way they do, because there are many different cells, projecting their will, which pool together to create the personality you see as each individual person.
A persons biological needs, emotional impulses, intellectual processes and even reactive, instinctual processes are all the collective interactions of all the cells that make up their organism.
These various impulses are all created by the body and are experienced from the perspective that they are YOUR urges, needs, desires and wants. As you observe yourself you realize they really are not you.
Thus you being to peel away all that is not you, that is of your biological organism, your body, and you uncover that which is the True Self, the Soul, the Consciousness, behind it all, silently Observing, without judgement, attachment. It Simply is the Presence that is you, that is Pure Awareness, pure Is-ness, the Presence of the essence of that which has been referred to in many religions and spiritual circles as the state of “I AM”.
You realize to say “I Am Hungry”, is the collective urge of the body. “I am Happy”, is still a process of the body. “I am Smart”, “I am Aware” are still Identities of the Body, that tell you they are you.
You can see past these ILLUSIONS and Realize that even to say “I am Spiritual”, is still an Illusion. It is an Identity, but out of all the Identities there are to choose from, since you are residing in this Universe, is one of the better Identities to work with.
You realize what it is to be in the state of “I AM”, when you no longer need to reside in an Identity all the time. You can interact and work with your bodies Identities, and when its hungry, you feed it, when its sad you comfort it, when it yearns for knowledge, you instruct it. Still, you don’t Identity with it. You don’t buy into the Illusion, but use the Identities that allow you to interact with this Reality in the way you want to; As a Spiritual Person, a conduit for Source Consciousness.
Thus you can walk in both worlds, have Your Awareness and Consciousness and experience all that life has to offer.
You can truly have your cake and eat it too, without ever finishing your cake, so you can always have it and eat it simultaneously, thus allowing these Illusions we call “Reality” to work with you and for you, not against you!
